For example, a 12-megapixel camera typically produces an image that's about 4000 pixels wide × 3000 pixels high (4,000 × 3,000 = 12,000,000 pixels, or 12 megapixels). As a general guideline, an image with a resolution of 4000 × 3000 pixels is suitable for printing a mural sized 4000 mm × 3000 mm (4 m × 3 m). Keep in mind that the overall quality of a large-format wallpaper mural also depends on your camera, lens, and sensor quality.
